Global Legal Process Strategy Print E-mail

Today many companies are embracing LPO to help in-house lawyers focus on sophisticated legal work by off-loading repetitive legal tasks to dedicated pools of lawyers in low-cost jurisdictions like India.  The most common services to outsource are document review (for litigation or due diligence) and the initial review of standard contracts (high volume contracts with terms to be changed within a set range).

We work with law firms and legal departments to help understand their needs, and evaluate their options, with regard to Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO).  We use our comprehensive Legal Globalization Strategy & Analysis Methodology to:

  1. Analyze the appropriateness of, and defining the goals of, legal globalization
  2. Design a legal services delivery model that meets client-specific business needs
  3. Identify, evaluate and select vendors or plan for a shared services (“captive”) operation, and
  4. Assist with a pilot, governance model and transition to steady state operations
