The demand for lower legal costs has resulted in the emergence of Legal Process Outsourcing firms that provide such outsourced services as document review (for litigation or due diligence), contract management and intellectual property searches.  Today many companies are embracing LPO to help in-house lawyers focus on sophisticated legal work by off-loading repetitive legal tasks to dedicated pools of lawyers in low-cost jurisdictions like India. 

We help law firms and legal departments evaluate, select and transition work to LPO vendors.  Our comprehensive process includes pre-selection, selection and transition phases.  During pre-selection we help clients identify the goals of using an LPO vendor, the key metrics that will define success for the initiative, and the operational processes, technologies, and governance structures that will meet the identified goals.  During vendor selection we help identify, evaluate and select vendors.  Some of the techniques we employ during selection include RFIs/RFPs, client expert teams interviews, vendor site visits, and process and governance measurement.  Our transition efforts incorporate pilot projects, change management procedures, cross-cultural training & communications, and continuous improvement methods into each of our engagements.
