In 2009, the PMC raised more than $30 million, and since its founding in 1980, has raised $270 million for cancer research and treatment at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. The PMC is a model of fundraising efficiency as illustrated by its contribution of 100% of every rider-raised dollar directly to Dana-Farber. The PMC is Dana-Farber’s single largest contributor, and generates half of the annual revenue for the Jimmy Fund, Dana-Farber’s non-profit arm. During the weekend of August 7th & 8th, Red Bridge team members will ride their bicycles for one or two days on routes of either 84 or 163 miles. As part of its team sponsorship, Red Bridge Strategy will provide two tickets to the Boston Red Sox game against the Kansas City Royals on Saturday, May 29, 2009 at 7:10 pm in Fenway Park, Boston. Anyone who contributes a total of $100 or more to any combination of the Red Bridge Strategy Team members by midnight, Friday, May 21st will be entered into a drawing for the tickets. The winner will be notified by e-mail during on May 22. The Red Bridge Strategy team hopes and expects to raise $15,000 for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through the PMC. Contributions can be made to any of the following team members who will be riding in the 2010 Pan-Mass Challenge.
