Implementation of International Online Marketing Print E-mail

Client: A Fortune-1000 biotech firm with US and European offices and key products in niche disease areas.

Situation: The client needed to raise market awareness ahead of a global product launch. Global branding had to be consistent while meeting local cultural and regulatory requirements in a cost-effective manner.

Project: We worked with corporate management to understand the online needs of key patient and physician market. In collaboration with the product managers and legal counsel in five EU countries, we developed country strategies. Recognizing the need for continuous new online content, we leveraged the US content sources, by designing a process that enabled EU country managers to have the content translated, reviewed and localized on an ongoing basis.

Result: The engagement resulted in five distinct country websites and online communities, that were aligned with global branding and messages. We also worked with a technical team to design and implement a web-based architecture and workflow for global-local collaboration that enabled ongoing local cultural control and regulatory compliance.
